"It was a fantastic day, with at least 40 volunteers! We painted 3 rooms, painted trim, brought a hardwood floor back to life, cleaned the kitchen & cabinets, created some flowerbeds, pressure-washed the whole house, removed old appliances replaced with new, donated appliances, took 4 truckloads of garbage to the dump, repaired two holes in her ceiling, put a tarp on the leaky roof so the repair will be protected, and got rid of a dead tree in her front yard."
