Welcome to the Compton Family Project Page!
Rob and Kathy have answered God's call and stepped out in faith to adopt 3 year old Emmanuel from Ghana. The Compton Family and a team of volunteers will be working on a widow's home to help raise funds to cover the high cost of adopting this little boy. Each volunteer is raising sponsorship for their day of work. Since most of the supplies for the repairs on the widow's home are being donated, 100% of the money raised will help bring home a little boy to his forever family.
Two years ago, Beth tragically lost the love of her life. As a single working mother, Beth has done an amazing job raising her Taylor (7). Despite all the challenge and setbacks, she is always a bright light to other and the nations. Since Beth's husband passed away, it's become more difficult to keep up with the necessary improvements and repairs to her home. So on March 10, the Compton's and the team of volunteers will be working on her home.
" It's amazing to watch the people of God, become the hands and feet of God. During our event, we were reminded, sometimes the little of things bring the most amount of joy. Serving the widow and orphan can be as easy as picking up a hammer or mowing the yard. Our project is unique, because it will take at least 3 to 4 weeks to complete.
